Experiment Description:

The purpose of this experiment was to quantify the flux of ions with energies greater than 1 MeV. The main experiment was sponsored by the Air Force Geophysics Laboratory for the purpose of measuring the energetic protons trapped in the Earth's magnetic field. A series of subexperiments were included which have related goals.
