- Research Associate; Institute for Space Science and Technology:
Member of the Clementine ISA and LDEF Interplanetary Dust Experiment (IDE) data reduction teams and a key person in orbital debris contract work with Lockheed.
- Involved in several educational programs, including the Student Science Training Program and projects at the Northeast Regional Data Center regarding high school students and supercomputers.
- Received grant from Rotary International to establish SOCRATES, an electronic science information service with Internet connectivity.
- ISST scientific programmer and computer systems manager, responsible for a small network of personal computers (IBM PC and Macintosh), a UNIX workstation, and a Digital Equipment Corporation VAX.

- Departmental computer systems manager and network coordinator. Supervised the transition of the department's computing from an isolated VAX 11/750 to a globally-connected network of over twenty high-performance UNIX workstations.
